Paris in the Springtime
To all those who visit this site looking for information about Johnny Hallyday – and I’m not entirely sure why this would be – click below and behold France’s most significant contribution to rock’n roll.
Europe in the late 1960s was the golden age that so many Euros long for. Moi aussi! A time of optimism
,
unfiltered cigarettes, growing economies, political energy, and Citroen DSs driving on paving stones beneath which lay the beach.
And youth! Imagine Europe filled with young confident people tearing down the tired old world to build an exciting new future.
Johnny was one of them then. Today, they're second-generation Muslims and the future they're building has a distinctive Seventh Century flavor to it.
